UEZ Accounting Clerk
Lakewood Development Corporation

The Lakewood Development Corporation seeks an individual with knowledge of government administration and accounting to assume duties of corporate accounting oversight within the Urban Enterprise Zone Program (UEZ).

Individual would work with staff in the administration of state designated Urban Enterprise Zone Program. Duties require strong accounting skills, experience in compliance reporting; computer literacy; communication skills; an understanding of loan program management; ability to interact with state agencies for the purpose of managing local grants and projects. Individual would report directly to the Executive Director.

Candidates should have a background in accounting, government administration and grant management.

Upon selection and offer of employment, the applicant would be required to be available on or about January 4, 2010.

Salary commensurate with experience, paid holidays, retirement plan, medical benefits provided.

NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR EXTRAORDINARY UNSPECIFIABLE SERVICES UNDER A FAIR AND OPEN PROCESS

Notice is hereby given that Qualifications for extraordinary unspecifiable services, not subject to bidding pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5, will be received by the Lakewood Development Corporation. The responses must be submitted to the UEZ Coordinator, Municipal Building Room 12, 231 Third Street, Lakewood NJ 08701

on or before November 25, 2009 by 10:00 a.m.

Proposals for the following extraordinary unspecifiable services will be accepted:

Advertising, Marketing Individual or Agency

The Lakewood Development Corporation invites Requests for Qualification (RFQ) to provide advertising, marketing and public relations consulting services (the Consultant) to advise the Lakewood Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) and the Township of Lakewood on the creation and implementation of a Marketing project. The term of this assignment shall be for a period up to Twelve (12) Months from the award of the contract and dependent upon the availability of funds for those services.

The Consultant will be required to provide a variety of task oriented work assignments of various lengths and scope during the period of engagement, subject to the approval of the Lakewood Development Corporation and the Township of Lakewood and the availability of funding allocated in an approved UEZ project. Tasks will be assigned by the Executive Director or her Designee during the implementation of the project.
