Purchasing Department. "Service is our Business". The Department's goal is to provide the highest quality of goods and services needed by all Township departments in a timely manner, at the lowest possible price and in compliance with all New Jersey State Laws and Regulations. The Department promotes a fair, open and competitive purchasing environment in compliance with Local Public Contracts Law, regulations, and Lakewood Township Administrative Code.
The Department obtains prices for goods and services through formal and informal quotes, receipt of bids, state contracts, cooperative purchasing and/or request for proposal process (RFP). The purchasing staff, which includes the Purchasing Agent (QPA, RPPO) and Purchasing Specialist (RPPS), maintains a good working relationship with all Lakewood Township Departments to ensure a fair and open purchasing process. The purchasing staff works very closely with Finance Department and other departments to ensure that invoices are accurate and promptly paid.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Proposals for HEC-RAS Technical Study & Geotechnical Investigation
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Lakewood hereby solicits proposals for an HEC-RAS technical study and geotechnical investigation.
Proposals must be contained in a sealed envelope, marked “sealed proposal”, with the name and address of the party submitting the proposal and indicating the name of the RFP. Sealed proposals may be submitted in person or mailed to the attention of Patrick Donnelly, Township Manager, Municipal Building, 231 Third Street, Lakewood, NJ, 08701. Sealed proposals must be submitted by Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at which time they will be publicly opened and announced in Room A of the Municipal Building.
