Community Development

The Community Development's role is to ensure that annual funding made available to the Township form the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is expended properly in accordance with Federal rules and regulations.
The program provides annual grants on a formula basis to entitled cities and counties to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment, and by expanding economic opportunities, principally for low- and moderate-income persons.

This FREE seminar is presented by the Ocean Vicinage Legal Research & Information Center, in coordination with South Jersey Legal Services, Solution to End Poverty Soon (STEPS) and Catholic Charities.
It is open to the public, space is limited and reservations are necessary.

A deadline date of September 1, 2017 is established for all applications to be filed with Rehabco, Inc. It is anticipated that units will be ready for occupancy in Spring of 2018.
